Robyn Leguyon
I’ve been a registered complementary therapist for 20 years.
My original training modality was Reiki - I attained First Degree qualification in 2000, Second Degree in 2004 and I just attained my Reiki Master qualification in November 2019.
I trained for my Therapeutic Massage qualification in 2001. During this training, an introductory course introduced me to Reflexology. This became my passion and made me realise how much more effective I could be as a therapist, by using these modalities rather than massage.
In 2016, I upgraded my qualification to the new national standard, a Diploma in Reflexology, having previously qualified as a Reflexologist in 2003. I have worked in this field ever since.
I'm a registered, professional member of two national associations: Reflexology New Zealand association and Reiki New Zealand. I believe that registration with an overseeing body is important for my clients to see that their treatment is undertaken with due care & professionalism.
I’m passionate about working with other therapists and healthcare providers to provide customised treatment & solutions for our mutual clients.
I see my role as a health/wellness educator and I work closely with my clients to help them discover the best option/s to enable them to regain and maintain their optimum health levels.
I worked in a multi-modality clinic in central Wellington for seven years, which proved how effective it was for my clients to have access to a huge pool of experience, resources and modalities. Hence my move to the Wairarapa Natural Health Clinic in Carterton.
I would love to extend this cooperation right across the healthcare sector, so that a more supportive, effective, proactive healthcare system is created for both practitioners and clients.
